Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Calcagno's office has created a welcoming atmosphere for not only adults, but for children as well. We know the importance of starting good dental practices at an early age, so we take extra special care to help show kids and their parents why its important to keep their teeth ship-shape.

Each visit we paint a solution on the child's teeth to show them areas of the teeth they may have missed while brushing, and stress the importance of brushing daily. We encourage the parents to be involved and active in their child's dental health by inviting the parent into the room during the examination to hear findings and recommendations directly from the staff or doctor. We have an electronic dental chart to follow each child's progress to ensure normal development is occurring, and just to make it a little more enjoyable for our younger patients, we have televisions they can watch during their appointments.

At our office, we know how to make every visit enjoyable for each child. Many of our younger patients can’t wait to come back!
